I’m Tika Cook, a curly-haired, big dreaming creative who refuses to wait for opportunities and instead creates them! Born and raised in San Antonio, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, problem solving, and the magic of bringing ideas to life. That passion took me to Fort Worth, where I earned my Communication degree at Texas Wesleyan University.

From there, I jumped into the world of media production, taking on the role of Media Production Director at First United Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas. It was an incredible experience that allowed me to sharpen my skills, collaborate with a diverse team, and develop a deep love for what happens behind the scenes.

But in 2017, I realized something important, the film industry is constantly changing, and waiting around for the perfect opportunity just wasn’t my style. So, I launched Tika Creations, determined to build a space where Actors could find the support, resources, and creative collaboration they needed. A year later, I relocated to Austin, where I quickly found my people, Actors, and fellow Creatives all working toward the same dream.

Now, through Tika Creations, I specialize in helping Actors take their careers to the next level. With over 15 years in the industry as a SAG-AFTRA member, I know firsthand how challenging (and rewarding!) this business can be. That’s why I’m dedicated to helping others navigate it with confidence, whether it’s through capturing their next round of Headshots, Consultations or simply being a resource for Actors and Creatives trying to make their mark.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: To help!  I believe in lifting each other up, and in making things happen instead of waiting for permission.
